This 2 year long project was to focus on extending component life by assessing lubricant performance. Designing a grease for high angle CV joints, operating at high rpm, for both mud and desert environments. Extensive research and testing has led to the development of “VENOM,” an extreme temperature grease with excellent shear stability. Fortified with high solids content and synthetic base oils, VENOM protects against shock loading and reduces contact pressures in very tight tolerances. Reduced temperatures + reduced swelling = increased CV boot service life. VENOM is highly adhesive, prevents water intrusion, and will not drop out, run, or melt under accelerated conditions.
